Rescheduling Policies

​

At this time, Pigment Salon Studio requires that any rescheduling request be submitted via email at hairbygretchenleigh@yahoo.com 72 hours prior to your scheduled appointment date. Confirmation of your appointment must be submitted via Square to confirm your requested appointment date and time.

In the event of an emergency cancellation due to illness, injury or extreme weather conditions, email the salon directly at hairbygretchenleigh@yahoo.com as soon as possible. In order to provide all of my guests with the best possible service, it is imperative that you arrive to your appointment at it’s scheduled start time. While emergencies happen to us all, chronic tardiness not only affects your stylist’s ability to perform your requested services correctly, it also frequently has a negative impact on guests scheduled after you. In order to preserve scheduling integrity,

please note that going forward, lateness of more than 10 minutes past your scheduled appointment time will necessitate a rescheduling of your appointment to a future date and time. In the event of two or more late arrivals, a $30.00 rescheduling invoice will be incurred In the event that a guest were to miss an appointment without prior communication with the salon as listed above, the guest will be placed onto a No Online Booking list-while you will still have the ability to request an appointment via email, your account will no longer have access to Pigment Salon Studio’s digital booking system. Failure to arrive at more than one appointment without prior communication with the salon will result in the termination of your ability to book any future appointments with the salon.​Please note that 2 consecutive cancellations, or rescheduling of your appointment date more than twice per appointment within a 3 month window, giving communication with less than 72 hours of your scheduled appointment will incur an invoice of $30.00/hour booked for color services, or 50% of your scheduled non-chemical service total, and you will be issued a digital invoice as an appointment deposit to be fulfilled prior to booking any future appointments. Pigment Salon Studio strives to offer to best possible service experience to all of our valued guests; and we appreciate your cooperation with these procedures which assist with allowing us to continue to do so.​I look forward to seeing you in the studio soon!​

Post Appointment Adjustment Requests

​

Everyone has had the experience of getting their hair done, loving the finished product, and then living with your new look for a few days and seeing some tweaks you’d like to make. These things happen, and it’s a no pressure situation! If, with in 7-10 days of your receipt of service you find something that needs adjustment, please reach out to me via hairbygretchenleigh@yahoo.com to schedule an adjustment appointment. We’ll discuss what your thoughts are, exchange photos of your hair, and discuss the steps necessary to meet your vision. My goal is always for you to feel your best, so please know that this offer is always available to you! *a product fee will apply to color

applications, any changes requested based a change of

consultation will be priced according to an

in person consultation.

Post Appointment Adjustment Policies

My goal as your stylist is to always provide you with the most excellent service possible, and sometimes that means that after your appointment, you notice something you’d like adjusted to move us closer to our hair goals. Some adjustment request examples may look like the following

 

You recently received a blonding service, and feel like the shade of your gloss reads differently at home than it did in the salon

 

No problem! A deep cleansing and conditioning treatment and a re-application of your gloss shade can be scheduled at your earliest convenience

 

You recently had your hair re-shaped, and are noticing that it lays differently when you style it to your preference at home than it did post-styling at the salon

 

That’s ok! Even I don’t often take the time to style my hair in the same way I style out a guest at the end of our appointment together; so it’s natural that you may find that something could be done to move your cut towards something more manageable at home

 

You received a Vivid/Creative Color service within the last 4 weeks and are experiencing a change in pigmentation more advanced than we discussed during our pre-appointment consultation to expect by that stage of your color’s life cycle?

 

While deep cleansing and deep conditioning services are performed prior to these types of color applications, Vivid Semi Permanent shades are designed to fade gently over time, and a secondary application of supplementary color may need to be applied to the hair post appointment to extend and maintain your color over time

 

 

You’ve lived with your new color within 7-10 days of receiving your service and while your results match your agreed on hair goals discussed during our pre-appointment consultation; you realize you’ve just changed your mind?

 

I get it! I always say it takes about a week for me to get used to my own reflection in the mirror after I’ve made a change to my hair, and sometimes our hair can turn out exactly like our inspiration photos, it just doesn’t make us feel the way we want to; and never fear-adjustments can be made!

 

Under the circumstances of receiving your agreed upon services but having a change of heart within the adjustment request window, we will consult together to agree on what services will be needed to move us towards your new hair goals. You will then be scheduled for future services appropriately.

 

 

All non-color service adjustments are completely complementary and can arranged via email at

within 7-10 days of receiving your services

 

Any color service adjustment request received within 7-10 days of receipt of services will go through a secondary consultation to address the services needed to move us in the direction of your goals.

During your adjustment appointment you will be booked appropriately to reflect the length of time needed to complete your secondary services, the guest will only be responsible for the cost of product necessary, and will not be charged the typical service total

 

In the event that a post-appointment color adjustment service is requested due to a change of heart on behalf of the guest, a secondary consultation will be performed, and we will collaborate on what your vision is for moving forward. Post consultation you will be booked reflecting the agreed upon services needed to achieve your goals, and the guest will be responsible for the total service cost

 

 

 

A color service adjustment request will be scheduled post secondary consultation, and can be requested within 7-10 days of the receipt of services via email at
